Christie Whelan Browne is one of Australia’s most accomplished and versatile  performers, renowned for her exceptional command of musical theatre, comedy  and dramatic work across stage and screen. Her career includes celebrated

performances in Muriel’s Wedding the Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, Kimberly  Akimbo, Company; multi-award winning solo shows Britney Spears: The Cabaret,  Show People, Vigil & Life In Plastic. Christie’s long-standing relationship with  Melbourne Theatre Company showcases the breadth of her craft, with standout  roles in The Beast, The Importance Of Being Earnest, Twelfth Night and An Ideal  Husband.

Her screen work spans some of Australia’s most recognisable productions,  including Offspring, Winners & Losers, Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door, The  Wrong Girl and Neighbours, further cementing her reputation as an artist of rare  adaptability and presence.
