Evan is a Melbourne-based theatre maker, director and drama educator whose  work spans musical theatre, stage performance and creative development for  young audiences. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, he has performed  in major productions including The Normal Heart, Muriel’s Wedding the Musical,  Anything Goes, and Legally Blonde. He returns to The Normal Heart with Sydney  Theatre Company in 2026.

As a director, Evan recently led Shrek for Catholic Ladies College, earning Music  Theatre Guild commendations. His original work Aznavourian has toured nationally  and internationally, including seasons at the Melbourne Cabaret Festival and the  New York Music Theatre Festival.

Alongside his creative practice, Evan is a passionate drama educator, teaching  since 2018 across masterclasses, ensemble coaching and school programs. He  also works with Echelon Productions in creative development — writing, producing  and directing educational content and incursions for students nationwide.

Evan brings imagination, collaboration and professional insight to every workshop,  empowering young performers to take bold creative risks and share their stories  with confidence.
