
Fiona Harris
Fiona is an award-winning actor, writer, speaker and creative consultant with over two decades of experience across television, theatre and publishing. As a performer, she has appeared in beloved Australian series including Offspring, The Beautiful Lie, Utopia, The Librarians, The Time of Our Lives, Mr & Mrs Murder and Comedy Inc – The Late Shift, alongside acclaimed stage productions such as Spencer, Long Gone Lonesome Cowgirls and Plus One.
A prolific writer, Fiona has authored more than 40 published books, spanning adult fiction, children’s and middle-grade literature, memoir and major entertainment collaborations — including titles with Sam Kerr, Marcus Bontempelli, Sharni Layton, DreamWorks and Walker Books. Her comedy web series The Drop Off (co-created
with her husband Mike McLeish) garnered international awards and was adapted into two successful novels, with a third underway.
In 2025, Fiona and Mike co-adapted Dolly Parton’s Here You Come Again for Australian stages, premiering at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre before touring nationally. Alongside her creative achievements, Fiona is a sought-after educator and presenter, running workshops and mentorship programs for emerging writers and regularly hosting festivals and community events across Victoria.
